Indian Army Soldier wins gold medal in Sailing Championship at Abu Dhabi
One of the times when an Indian feels intensely patriotic is when his countrymen win in an international event, which is just what Indian Army’s Havildar Mohit Saini achieved when he won the gold medal in the Abu Dhabi Open Regatta 2019. The Abu Dhabi Open Regatta is the first race of the UAE National Sailing Championship Series and included all the various classes that are sailed in the UAE. The regatta is international and open to sailors of all ages and nationalities. Saini displayed his skills in the Regatta’s yachting node and bagged a gold.

Earlier on Sunday, the Indian Army had undertaken a trekking expedition to Mt Trimukhi, which is situated at an elevation of 6422m. After relentless climbing, the team reached the summit of Mt Trimukhi.
